Meet The Founder

“As an Afro-Latina, I’ve often grappled with belonging—straddling two identities and feeling the pull of both. While I’ve found inspiration in the wealth of networking and mentorship programs designed for Black women, I’ve noticed a lack of similar community-centered spaces that fully support the other half of my identity as a Latina.

This gap inspired the creation of The SOL Collective—a space where Latina heritage and women’s empowerment converge under the powerful symbolism of the sun. The sun represents light, warmth, and vitality, qualities that mirror the strength, resilience, and brilliance of Latina women. The SOL Collective is not just about professional advancement; it’s about nurturing the nuances of being a Latina woman both in and outside our careers. It’s a place to explore the hobbies we love, prioritize self-care and mental health, broaden our perspectives through education, and build connections through mentorship and networking opportunities.”
